Your Gateway to World History and Current Events
(my job is to make you more smarterer)

Welcome to my site!

Thanks for taking a look, sorry about my bad typing on the site and videos!

The first five years I taught history I was also moonlighting as a bartender on the weekends. The restaurant where I worked was a very popular Japanese steak house and customers waiting up to two hours for their tables would always ask me what my day job was. I noticed right away that when they found out I taught world history almost every adult male wanted to talk history and many of the women said they didn't enjoy history in school but became interested in it as adults as they see it play out. This site is for both high school students and adults who want to brush up on their history and current events. Just click on the Current Events page or the page with the era of history or you want to learn about, although I would suggest starting with the Intro Video so you get a baseline and some  key characteristics of history that will repeat themselves over and over! Also, be warned! I have an offbeat sense of humor!

My Mission
(Yes, I have a mission! Kind of like having a special purpose)

To provide high-quality videos for high school students and adults who wish to brush up on their history and current events. All done with a dizzying mix of popular culture, Dad-Jokes, sly subtle jabs for those who appreciate high-brow sarcasm (personally, I think people who don't get sarcasm are awesome) and just plain goofiness. So,  if something I say makes no sense it is an obscure reference.

Our Offerings

This site will feature real-world classroom review work for students. After more than 25 years of teaching I have weeded out the reviews that don't "stick" with the kids so Young Scholars or adults may find themselves actually enjoying academic work!.
